Paul S Wilson – Philosopher etc…

Hi, I am Paul S Wilson, a student, a worker, a thinker, and a bit of a writer. I write about politics, philosophy, religion, race, sex, relationships, psychology, violence, crime, peace and liberty. I read Freud, Marcuse, Baudrillard, Hobbs, Hume, Plato, Sartre, Chomsky and Foucault among many other things and I converse with people who think differently to myself at any opportunity. My favourite Writer is Christopher Hitchens and my favourite speaker is Prof Rick Roderick. The best book I have ever read is 1984 by Orwell, or maybe Brave New World by Aldus Huxley. I am, as you will see from my writing, a socialist with a fundamental concern for human emancipation, a falablist with a willingness to be wrong, a firm believer in freedom of expression and speech, a failure and a success in equal measure, and I am above all a curious individual with a need to figure the world out. So let’s start a conversation….

This is not the entirety of my work, just what I can publish right now under conditions where the things that I may wish to investigate in my writings would cause discomfort for certain persons, I hope in time to put forward the rest if possible. Also, in this blog I may collaborate with some friends, their material is posted with their full permission.
